Ian, what time is your train due in? Will take you for a coffee if you're likely to be at a loose end? In fact, happy to show anyone the sights, sounds smells. Could drive us down to Towton for a gawp at the battlefield or show you where the Yorkshire Regt Museum is, its been refurbbed and worth a look for a fiver.
Hello Tim,
Excellent idea. My train gets into York at around 11:30 on Friday - is that OK? I thought I'd head over to the Regimental museum and then over to the hotel sometime after 14:00. The museum closed too early for me to visit the last time I was in York so it's a must see. Coffee and museum sounds good.
On Saturday I'm giving the place the full tourist treatment so pinning myself down to a specific time might be a problem.
Exchanging telephone numbers might be a good idea.
EB, the quote-inside-a-quote got quite complicated there, but I think you just answered your own post.

Sorry Ian. I didnt realize you meant Friday, was reading it as Saturday. I'm working Friday.
Will see you all Sunday.
See you the week after Peeler.
That's no problem at all, Tim, see you Sunday.......but can I remind you of the grief you gave Mr P for being all confused about dates - and him being old and all.
