Good game tonight! It all kicked off when our brave adventurers stole some servants clothing and entered the Comte’s party. There they observed the man dressed as the Queen beaten almost to death and then helped dump him in the Comtes cellar. They stole some of the Comtes clothes and a magical tome before leaving the party with an invite to then next soirée. Gerome snuck a look a the magical tome, went mad and tried to eat the brains of his companions. Maxime bravely ran away as fast as his legs could carry him whilst Robert and Etienne set about subduing him. Claudine made notes of all of this in her little red book.
They now have to plan a raid on the Comtes mansion and apprehend him. I do hope he doesn’t notice the missing book or the guard Robert knocked unconscious...

Great fun again thanks Jeremy. We found two popes and didn’t bring any home. I think next time we need at least one.

Re: Reign of Terror
Lots happened tonight.
Etienne had his first go wearing clothes that weren't made from cabbage leaves and onion skins.
Robert got very close to a sanity failure, but Gerome charged spectacularly over that threshold and only violence, and a lack of suitable cutlery, prevented him from snacking on the party's brains (however little nourishment that would have offered).
Claudine is probably going to need surgery to recover her pencil sometime soon.

Nobody put their finger in the hole.
Might I suggest that we all work on our ‘spot hidden’ skills for next time. You never know, could be useful.

I get lockdown, but I get up again.

I’m very disappointed. I give the LAW crowd 24 perfectly good glory holes. And what do they put in there? A pencil....

Re: Reign of Terror
Well that was fun. 72 luck spent in one arse twitching moment of panic by Etienne. Deciding the only way to damage a porcelain statue was to use a barrel load of explosive In a tiny room. Leaving the defeat of the vampire to a madman armed with a spoon. Failing to kill our dodgy employer and simultaneously pissing him off at the same time.
