Anyone interested in a return to your favourite Banana Republic? If so how do you want it? Several options:
1. 28mm again similar as before with the usual plot twists and beligerents.
2. As above but a move accross the Atlantic to South America and some new background/can use same figures etc..
3. Back to the origional 1/32 scale
4. A smaller scale 20mm/15mm with a bigger sweeping landscape. More vehicles etc. This would take some work though.
Pandemic permitting two Aytons next year I'd hope we have the time.
I wouldn't be offended if no one is quite ready to go back. Many of you will still be suffering monkey venom and flashbacks from mind bending herbal highs.

I saw some billboards with NDL's mugshot on them. I presume he was the great dictator?

Re: Kumbahyah 2021
Whisky, I have definitely been mulling over a return to Kumbayah as apossible game for next year's Ayton. As for 20mm and the diddy scales go to the naughty corner. 28 mm would be fun, we have shedloads of stuff, I need an excuse to buy those Empress Vietnam ANZAC's and an M113 or six. I would be quite happy to stick with the African setting, in the now completely failed and lawless state of Kumbayah, with warlord bands roaming throughout, whilst the "civilised" foreign powers vie for resources, loot and influence, leaving it ripe for Norm's return to power coup.
Rules? You ask me what rules do I use. No, I don't do rules.
Re: Kumbahyah 2021
There's a lot of issues going on at the moment, which is why i've held back from full commitment to October However i'd love a return to Kumbayah or similar.
I'd like to keep it in Africa, as we have a lot of scenery which works for that background*...and 28mm for me. I had considered 6mm or 10mm but then realised that after I had bought a LOT of the Eureka 28s in Fighting 15s great clear out sale that it wouldn't be financially a great move to down scale. (I've also acquired more air support/airport scenery).
We could move the game south a bit to more tribal areas and have scattered villages for some variety, Rhodeleland always has issues with insurgents and neighbouring countries so hat might be a possibility?
I think i'm booked up for games for Mays Ayton but 2nd Ayton next year would be feasible?
I do have quite a bit, and so do others I think, which would work for SE Asia too.

Re: Kumbahyah 2021
More of the usual recipe for me.
Mr Goldman has ben busy tracking down US war surplus to equip the Kumbayah Liberation Front, The Mumu tribe are the latest beneficiaries of his efforts. To avoid accusations of employing child soldiers only the more mature warriors are being uniformed and trained.
Or to put it another way, the KLF present The Justified Ancients of Mumuland.

Re: Kumbahyah 2021
Rhodeleland (formerly Southern N'dunaland), a few hundred miles to the south, has been suffering from the attentions of its Colonial neighbour, Escudan Kwarara, and has also seen incursions from socialist, Zapzap, insurgents. This makes the west and the north of the country de facto war zones.
Rhodeleland has responded by manufacturing more armoured troop transports and increasing the armoured car numbers. Special Ops troops have been given parachute training for rapid insertion and a number of Cessena Lynx aircraft have arrived for close air support.

Bloody hell, the biggest thing that I had for the KLF was a Greyhound. Maybe I should do the Konflict 47 Sherman with a Tesla cannon.
