That's a phrase that hasn't been heard very often in the last three years...
You can never have too much of something you never needed to start with

Interesting. Next question, what size magnets do you use on the bombers? I bought some 3mm rare earth ones for my fighters and am hoping they will be okay...if not it'll be back to fleabay.Slugbalancer wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2018 12:05 pmAll but three of my aircraft use the standard plastic base you see in the photos. I do put weights in the base and I use larger magnets than most people do.

The magnets I use are 3mm in diameter and 4mm long, one on the aircraft and one on base.
Re: Slugbalancer's Gallery
Ah, thanks. I was going to go down the same route with a magnet on the base and the model but I didn't realise you cou could get oblong ones. Just had a quick butchers on fleabay and they come in quite thick lumps. I'm guessing that yours are thinner. Do you have a link to save me trawling through the listings? Thanks.

Here's where I get them from.

It's the top item, EP652 - 3mm dia x 4mmA - N38 - NiCuNi plated - 0.27kg Pull, that I use.

The Brazilians have a solution to that problem.
