Walls

Post by ochoin »

My walls & gatehouse from Anyscale arrived today:

Image

A fairly expensive purchase, it represents low-level Scottish fortifications from the Middle Ages.

I aim to use it for anything from Ancient warfare to the modern era. Once painted, it should make its first appearance as the walls of Reichenberg in a SYW game I plan for November.

That looks good and I'm keen to get something similar myself but they have nothing suitable in 15mm or 28.

I'd suggest you could put the walls on an earthen rampart to get the necessary height but the parapets are a bit too narrow for 20mm much less 28.

I have Anyscale's Pele tower which will look good inside the walls. I don't think I'll glue them to a base, partly because of storage & partly because individual pieces will give me flexibility. Really, it's just eye candy as I can't percieve a game involving attacking the place.
