For "Never Mind the Billhooks"? I'm sticking with 6 man 1p sabot bases, two of those is a unit, and just fudging the alignment thing. The regular regimental bases just look too neat for my liking.

The great re-basing experiment will begin with the traditional sacrifice to EB.

Presumably you round the corners off before the sacrifice?

Prussians from the STS range but not the 1870 ones I just got this week, the other ones, I think without the blanket roll. It was a buy now sale, couldn't believe my luck. I paid £80 nearly for 24 infantry and 8 gunners plus extra arms the other week. I'm not going to have a huge collection of these, its cheaper sometimes to buy 54mm depending on what you want. My British army is pretty much done though and I wasn't sure about bothering with an opposing force but Norm talked me out of going down the 30mm route for now. I think he was right and I don't see AGW going out of fashion anytime soon, it was never really "in."

Today I did not buy several lots of Perry samurai or a load of Metal Warlord AZW infantry.

Well done me.
