I read the book, Nino Culotti IIRC, who was no more Italian than I am, and the follow up book. Hadn't seen the movie.

I’ve just idly stared these in between about 50 Lamming Napoleonic British Centre Company Figures’s d 20 or so Hinton Hunt British Crimean Guardsmen.
