Re: Penda’s Punic Project
Congrats on finishing those excellent Punes. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with the Celtiberians!
Re: Penda’s Punic Project
As you asked so nicely, the first base to represent a Celtiberian warband ~
Crusader Miniatures figures, LBM shield transfers and bases from Warbases as ever. More over on my blog of course.

Re: Penda’s Punic Project
They look celtiberian. Nasty lot, rather well done.
Re: Penda’s Punic Project
They look great, I'd looked at the bare figures on the website and thought they were a bit static but you've brought them to life nicely with a lovely paint job
Re: Penda’s Punic Project
A command base for my Spanish elements of the Carthaginian army. These are three Aventine Miniatures figures from the North Italian Hill Tribes command pack but they can proxy for Celtiberians in my army. As ever the MDF base is from Warbases and the wonderful shield transfers from LBM.
I've actually finished painting the second Celtiberian warband and with it the whole Carthaginian army, but I've got the base to finish texturing and then vegetating. I hope it will be finished for tomorrow, but chores here to complete first.

OMG, that is inspiring, it is almost enough to get me into pointy sticks.

Really lovely work there. I don't know whether it's inspiring or depressing!
I might go paint tanks and ignore pointy sticks for a while...

Lovely work Penda.
And, naturally Great Minds think alike... I've got those very Aventine Volsci in process myself. Inspirational job you've done on them, too. Look forward to seeing your next batch!

The second of two bases representing Celtiberian warbands. Figures from Crusader Miniatures, shields from A&A, shield transfers from LBM and bases from Warbases as ever. With these the Carthaginian army is finished, for now anyway. More on the blog if you are keen. Many thanks by the by for the kind replies, I know I enjoy seeing other folks' work so glad to know some enjoy my efforts.
