Spent this evening reading another pulp novel. The quality of hero really is going downhill.

Ah, now who stole the lenses out of that poor woman's glasses? The last thing you want is someone with a loaded firearm bumping into things......

(And did anyone else read that last line as "By Dr G Stringh"?)
