Easy choice, 1340's is way more interesting - at least, it is to me.

I love the early 100YW, but the Angevin attempts to hold onto their French inheritance is very interesting. And, Eleanor of Aquitaine. Say no more.
I get lockdown, but I get up again.

1340s is also perfect for the Second War of Scottish Independence with literally hundreds of engagements in all formats from pitched battles to sieges...

Initially misread that as pitched bottles and an image of an Old Firm game came to mind.

Why not be up to date and just fight the 2022 War of Scottish Independence?

2021 surely? There's not much point in alienating allies by burning swathes of Cumbria and Northumberland these days. I mean, there might be the odd border squabble over Berwick, and we'll obviously have to have strict refugee controls, but otherwise I expect it will be fairly peaceable.

What with Rome lover Bojo in London, he will mass all 8 british soldiers against you.Shahbahraz wrote: ↑Tue Nov 03, 2020 8:42 am 2021 surely? And just annex Cumbria, then I can move to Scotland.

Doesn't that 8 soldiers include 2 Fijians, a Scot, an Irish & a Welshman and a Ghurka as well? And I'm sure we won't be annexing anyone, just happy to welcome others to join the Greater Co-Prosperity Sphere.

Another couple of ebay wins of 42mm. Some painted Austrians, some 1830 types and a huge lot of Irregular Miniatures Prussian cavalry. I put a bid on an even bigger lot of French cavalry but let it go at £25 max bid. Already have some French cavalry and wasnt planning to do many Frenchies anyway. Other than a few skirmish jagers that pretty much completes my opposing Germanic shiny army. So we've a whole spare army if needed for future Aytons.

Not bought anything Wargames related in well over a month! Well, aside from a Wargames table and a painting desk
