Oh gods yes, I hated Saga on the two times I played it.
Which is weird, as I like resource management :?

Presumably it was SAGA 1.0? Give SAGA 2.0 a few tries, it's quite a different game, with less "weirdness" on the game boards.

Either way it used singly based figures as does Infamy (using sabot bases) so it looks like I'll be buying some Punic Wars 28s when I get rich.

It'll hopefully cure me of my 20mm Vietnam itch I've currently got.

I do not need a new project.

That reminds me, I have a 20mm Huey medivac and M48 in my box. Always meant to do Vietnam in 20mm and I painted a few of the Italeri/Esci figures.

Taking a while, but gradually chipping away at the box of Trojans I acquired from LT at Ayton last year . . . .

They're based for Impetus, which is a bit of a shame because the new army list book has just been published and they've changed the definition of just about every troop type in the Trojan and Achaean armies, but hey ho I'm not rebasing. I'm sure they'll work for Hail Caesar too.

Of course the only problem is that the box is not getting any less full because every time I paint a few, I decide I need more and buy them! Two more orders sent off today for more spearmen and chariots. And I haven't even started the opposition yet.
