So what's going on people's lists.? Actual lists not fantasy wish lists. and wargaming-related not the additions to your sexy lingerie collection.
I'm in a bit of a quandary this year. Don't want more figures for the painting queue. Don't want more books that I don't have time to read. RPGs are nice but I've got loads of stuff to run that i'll never get round to doing
Terrain is a strong contender - needs lots of fill in stuff and some staple items (trees, roads etc) so that I'm not just making do all the time.
Maybe a meaty boardgame that I can leave set up for solo play for a few months. Hex and counter drudgefest ?
Maybe

Re: Christmas Lists
Probably nothing on my list. Just ordered a few things for myself and had a birthday, so feeling sorted for the time being.

He’s had quite a lot of birthdays near Christmas.
There’s nothing I really need, beyond Grand Manner to start selling plain resin buildings again.

I get lockdown, but I get up again.

Re: Christmas Lists
so we've now had two wargamers saying they dont need any stuff and won't be getting anything. This is that dream again isn't it ? the one where I am forced to go to the TMP xmas party
Re: Christmas Lists
I think I'd like some buildings to go with my 30mm S/Smiths 18thC. Maybe smaller 20mm farm building types, the like of which I used to have half a dozen of but now can't find.

Re: Christmas Lists
That's 'cos you gave them to me a few years ago. In return for me doing those Airfix Napoleonic kits if I recall correctly. But like a true wargamer I have them sitting in a box unloved and unpainted. Would you like them back? It might cost you though.
As for Christmas I have asked for the Perry's "Travel Battle", might come in handy for holidays etc, if they ever come back. That and a couple of boxes of the plastic Afghans. As Simon says, I don't feel the need to increase the lead pile just for the sake of it. Getting older sucks.
Rules? You ask me what rules do I use. No, I don't do rules.
Re: Christmas Lists
I've ordered a few books and given them to Debbie to give to me.
The ECW Atlas is the only military type thing. She did agree to buy me some toys, but I can't think of anything I want......want to wait for until Christmas.
The trouble is, I've bought a shit load of stuff during the lockdowns. Not going to the pub for three months meant I had an obscene amount of spare cash.
