A Lewis chess set wargame would be spectacular- albeit at GW prices :o

I've just received well over 100 Aventine Miniatures figures I bought privately for £30. I've already identified the Velites, Extra Cavalry, Levy and a Command base for my Allied Italian elements. There remain enough figures for a second Roman Legion and probably half an Allied Italian Legion. I'm chuffed to say the least.
There is no point in being stupid if you don't show it!
