Slitherine: Wolves from the Sea - a dilemna

Post by ochoin »

This army book for FoG might provide a few ideas for my Dark Ages wargaming.

I found a copy on EBay that kind of illustrates the P&P issues ordering items for OZ raises.
And, of course, the money pit that EBay can be.

The book is 11 pounds - not too bad.
The P&P is 26 pounds - really?
+, evidently, 6 pounds for import tax.

Do I want the booklet that badly?

That P& P is steep, even with the current situation. You shouldn't cop import tax though. My latest purchase arrived a month ago (the 21st Panzer division history) with, around $20 post on a $60 book & no tax.

Caliver don't have Slitherine books, VB.

Yes, it is ridiculous ET- the guy's trying it on. But that's par for the course for EBay.

Lord VonWreckedoften: damned if I know.

Can you get the "Shieldwall" and "Age of Arthur" WAB books secondhand at a reasonable price in Oz? They might be a better alternative if you don't have them already.

I also found this copy available from Australia:
