Re: The Pointy Stick thread
Current plan is around 15 in each army (not started the Achaeans yet), but it might be more . . . .

They're a bit like Zulus when it comes to quantity, you can't have too many.
I know when to go out
I know when to stay in
Get things done

Wow. You don't do anything by halves do you. Hail Caesar (last question, promise)?
Re: The Pointy Stick thread
They're based for Impetus, which is what the guys at my club use, but I'll use them with Hail Caesar too I expect. Also want to find a heroic skirmish set because I'm basing the 'heroes' on individual command bases. Quite like the idea of chariot duels and individual combat between Homeric champions

I read that last line as homoerotic champions. Probably still works

They look wonderfully impressive and full marks for the dismounted Hero option - definitely needed.
I get lockdown, but I get up again.

£10 says he hates them, and recommends Wank and Smile instead.
Re: The Pointy Stick thread
Well, that's not inconceivable.......but I have heard very good things about both Impetus and Hail Caesar. I really fancy a very old school set of rules with buckets of dice.World2dave wrote: ↑Wed Dec 09, 2020 5:30 pm £10 says he hates them, and recommends Wank and Smile instead.
