Monro is apparently a good Matt...
But I use Galleria Matt in a big bottle thing from Hobbycraft

I'd say Testors but you have to be solvent to buy it.

I like the Winsor & Newton Galleria range. Comes in gloss, satin & matt.

I'll second Galleria for an acrylic medium which I use on blocks of figures.
Prefer to use gloss yacht varnish and then Humbrol Matcote for single figures in games that get more handling.

I've got so infuriated with Matt varnishes which aren't that I've given up varnishing altogether

Galleria for me as well. If you have a branch of The Range nearby they are cheaper than Hobbycraft.

Re: Loose Ass Enquiry
I'm a confirmed Galleria man as well. However, from a 'settled' new bottle, I always drain an ounce of the clear carrier fluid before shaking the hell out. Does the job.

Me no varnish anymore
