What's on your workbench?
Re: What's on your workbench?
That's a very nice paint job. I like the snow effect, very wintery.
There is no point in being stupid if you don't show it!

Thanks for at least noticing! Pierre Cardigan gets a clap, but mine gets ignored. No pleasing some audiences.....

I think you’ve succeeded- interesting basing as well, is this going to be a very large army?

And what rules? Over the years I've picked up a lot of warlord Pike & Shotte plastics in their various sales, but never really found rules I was thrilled by.
(That's before I decide which nation(s) to build...)

Cheers LT - I'm not really a squirmish gamerslevied troop wrote: ↑Fri Jan 08, 2021 8:11 am I think you’ve succeeded- interesting basing as well, is this going to be a very large army?
Actually when I think of it can I really say I'm a gamer as all I usually do is play with myself
Basing plan is for King and Parliament - Simon Millar's TTS ECW rules and these are his bases
My usual thinking goes on the lines of ..
Oooh look shiny...
Main aim is to have them look nice so there have to be a minimum of 12 pike, (16 I suppose would be better)
6 command and around 20 -24 musketeers in 3 ranks
A bit like this Empress Miniatures I did last year

I also have some Warlord infantry that look pretty good but waiting for a coat
Have 7 Empress regiments as above and 4 x 12 cavalry unpainted
Currently 4 First Corps regiments (3 are now on the way)
some Bicorne on the way
Likely to get Perry Cavalry I suspect
