What's on your workbench?
Re: What's on your workbench?
Lovely work, a mate local to me does a nice army of Sub-Romans.
Am I right in thinking Dux Brit is the lardy game?

That was more to do with my weapons-handling ability, or rather the lack of same...

Yep, quite an early one, the mechanics are pretty simple, and it uses a lot of their common concepts of big men, card actions, etc. It really scores in the campaign settings and overall narrative.
Jeremy is the real guru though. I've just been hooked playing a couple of games at the Virtual Lard days, and picked up a bunch of cheap figures. Looking forward to playing some solo games until we can all get back round a table.

Interesting. I have some almost done Saxons I got for SAGA, then just couldnt find myself enjoying SAGA so it got ebayed in the clearout. It's Dux Bellorium thats the Osprey game, I remember now.

That's the one, I have Dux Bellorum as well... but Dux Britanniarum is hitting the spot for me at the moment.

So do you both have all your Dux in a row then?
Kein Plan überlebt den ersten Kontakt mit den Würfeln. (No plan survives the first contact with the dice.)
