Excellent. I recognise those. Looking forward to seeing these done. Is this a plan for VL5?
Re: What are people buying?
It is indeed. Ultimately I’m planning a mini campaign of around 4-5 linked games. First game takes place around the house we’re living in at the moment - this is the one I’m hoping to put on at VL5

That's very cool. Most of the Lardies games really need a campaign setting, so one off games like the VL stuff really benefit from a context and a narrative. Look forward to seeing more of this project.

That figure in the top row reminded me of my maternal grandfather showing me his WW2 gas mask and footie rattle. He was an ARP warden and one of the first on the scene at the infamous Sandhurst Road School bombing in Catford on 20th January, 1943. After his death, in 1982, we found some items in a locked box that hinted he had been an Auxiliary in 1940, although he had never discussed the subject even in a general sense (however, he was a marksman in the TA between the wars).

I've got that set, most of them put in cameos in the Ayton VBCW game.

They did a good job of recruiting people who could keep their mouths shut. Not surprising as some of them were supposed to assassinate their recruiters to protect themselves.BaronVonWreckedoften wrote: ↑Thu Feb 11, 2021 7:00 pm That figure in the top row reminded me of my maternal grandfather showing me his WW2 gas mask and footie rattle. And right on cue, "We have ways of making you talk" was, yesterday, interviewing a guy from CART which maintains the history of the Auxiliary units.Buff Orpington wrote: ↑Thu Feb 11, 2021 10:51 pm They did a good job of recruiting people who could keep their mouths shut.
