Yep, some are as entertaining as Rimmer's account of his Risk campaigns.. while others can be almost as good as playing. The Tactical Painter and Little Hordes play rules I play and contain enough analysis for me to learn from, and follow the thinking, as well as being well written.
Wargames dreams never die, they just get left in a box.
