Rudolf Hess flew his Bf110 there.Given the massed forced landings of Ju52's in Holland and Crete, where the aim seems to have been simply getting down, with the ability to take off again a distant second, such a high risk approach seems possible for the right target. FWIW Wiki gives them a range of 1000km.
