1st player moves/shoots his figure towards/at an enemy figure
The enemy figure then tests against a table to see what his reaction is - duck into cover, shoot back, stand still etc
If they shoot back, the first player's figure tests his reaction and may recoil/shoot back etc.

You can soon lose all control over your figures and from a few test games Neanderthal and I tried some years back, it makes for a good solo game structure.

Best of all, they are free😀

Sounds interesting, but given the mechanics, I would imagine it has to be very small numbers per side. Squad rather than platoon level really?
Wargames dreams never die, they just get left in a box.

Indeed. They operate on small squads, 1 leader and 3/4 grunts or a few individuals. Haven’t really used it above 10 a side.
I get lockdown, but I get up again.

Woodlands scenics brightly coloured flock and clump foliage. I am fed up with the way people put away my Prussians, so each element will have three coloured blobs on the base to identify Brigade, Regiment, Battalion. Now my soldiers can tiptoe through the tulips.

There are a couple of 10mm AWI forces on Ebay atm with so much floral decoration that they seem to be fighting over a garden centre.https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10mm-AWI-Bri ... 3897491370

I could paint up some early war stuff in brown and grey and stick brightly coloured flock on the vertical surfaces.

Indeed - I can see at least four species that weren't introduced into America until the mid-19th Century.
