Many thanks, you all...Got more natives nearly done, but they continue to take longer to finish than expected. Alongside them, I'm trying to commit to my next pointy stick project. Ancients or medievals, so worked up a few from the Barons' War range.

Those look lovely.
psst, you've forgotten to paint the shoes on 2nd from left. I don't think anyone else has noticed so far so you might just get away with it.

I get lockdown, but I get up again.

They were good as a WIP; they are magic now.

I love the dent in the right hand guy's helmet. Is that a "field mod" by you, or was it sculpted in/on?

I've just seen your "first Nations" figures from the F&F range. Wow, just amazing painting. The Medievals are looking good too but the F&F are something special

Thanks much, gentlemen. And appreciate the kind words, Paul.
BVW - the dent was on the original sculpt. I really think this range is some of Hicks' best work. Probably I've said that before

My word. Rather nice brushwork, HMSP.

Re: HMS Priapus' Flying Bridge
Cheers, EB.
Some medieval WIP to follow as I'm continuing to work on the beginnings of a few retinues for my small Baron's War project. Here's the crew so far. I've till got a few to add to the groups I believe before I'm settled on the size of William Marshall's posse and experimenting with some colors for the various liveries I'll work towards for each named commander.
Been seeking the right reds, yellows, greens (dare I say blues), as one does, so here's a couple tests between Andrea (R), my longtime go-to, and Scale75's fantasy range (L)
More of what can be done with the Scale 75 palette.
Andrea red here, deliberately muted. But considering from a basing perspective the use of an off the shelf mix from Geek Gaming. I think it'll dress nicely and be quite efficient with a little drybrushing and some tufts added.
