I can't think it could be more matt than vallejo surely? That would be a very chalky, matty matt indeed.

but if absolutely reliably flat matt, I can see them being sueful for buildings etc.

That is possibly the most disturbing figure range i've ever seen! When you also consider how "Rock and Roll" Acker Bilk was it just gets better/worse.
