Tolkien estate can be safely ignored, as lotr and hobbit rights are held elsewhere, much to their chagrin. Peter Jackson would actually have to prove he created anything and had not just c opied and botched it himself and GW do not worry me.BaronVonWreckedoften wrote: ↑Sat May 23, 2020 11:07 am Surely the real question is: Do you have the approval of (a) the Tolkien estate, (b) Peter Jackson Productions Ltd, and (c) Games Workshop?

It wasn't actually a serious question, just the ex-lawyer in me being mischievous, but good to see you've got some answers ready!

Mwahhhhh hahhhhh hahhhh, me in a suit is a bad thing. You look like you have come to me on the day of my daughters wedding.....
With GW you call the bluff, they have ended up in court twice over tm and copyright, they won the TradeMark (idiot the defendant was) case and lost the copyright, because they were unable to prove anything they had was originally created by them in the legal sense, apparently changing the spelling of a name does not give you rights to it, unless you TradeMark it as well.

I rather like the ECW stuff, I wonder if the targes on the highlanders are a bit big though?

When I see them in the flesh I will judge (at the moment these are sculptors pics). 6mm is greatly a matter of looks right at times, but I am very pleased how they are coming together. And very fond of that gallowglass!
