Once again you give us a marvellous panoply of wargaming. The opening picture is spectacular. As usual, an awe inspiring game, and a great write up despite the vagaries of Autocorrect (ha ha).

I also read your tribute to Duncan Macfarlane, a nicely written piece, from the heart.

Can't see the panopoly, but a great little army for a war that was fought at wargemers' scale.

Like this. Always useful to have scenery that can be used for more than one historical period. Wo1812 is one of those periods, a bit like AWI, which is never going to break the budget, because the protagonists sensibly kept it within manageable proportions.

Another scene from the action where I was doing less badly!
Another bonus, like the AWI, is not so many cavalry fielded by either side.

Yes - I quite like painting horses, but they aren't everyone's cup of tea!

The sum total of my British cavalry for the War of 1812-15 games. I don't enjoy painting horses very much if I'm honest, too much fiddly detail at times. Foundry horses are especially my unfavourites!
