Despite my best intentions to keep the 1745 project to a manageable size, I am conscious that solitary groups that can't operate in formation in Sharp Practice is a 'bad thing' - so I am going to have to order some more Government Highlanders and Scots Fusiliers. Of course, this will mean that I need to order some more Jacobites to keep the forces balanced*.

I avoided this like the plague, as the crann tara WAS figures would have led me down a rabbit hole., same as minden SYW ones would have.

And, just so you don't start getting complacent.....

I have it on good authority that the figures are taken from a set of watercolours of Parisian street vendors by a chap named - rather appropriately - Bouchardon. I intend to get at least one pack of each set just for my one-size-fits-all AWI baggage train/camp followers project.

I did see this... and shuddered and looked away. If anyone ever produced figures based on the Penicuik illustrations, I would be gone.

Trip to the local Boyes for paint and varnish. Nothing special. Though I did get one of them self healing cutting mats that everyone seems to have. Only £2.50

If it's possible for a table to groan under the weight of plastic, then mine is. I've just picked up around 2 dozen secondhand but untouched 15mm vehicle kits from PSC and BF, to add to the 2 dozen recent purchases of new kits. Time to buy shares in plastic cement guys!
