Right chaps, with Mark Dudley added to the shiny game, that brings us to a total of 14 players for that, which is a hell of a lot, and would make game play a potential nightmare. It's nearly double our last big 42mm game in player numbers.

So I have been applying my aging and limited brain to the problem, and come up with the idea of pairs of players, sharing a command. It will mean seven pairs, and possibly a three to four pair split, but I don't think that is an insurmountable problem. Our arrangement at Fram 2019 worked quite well with 4 sectors and four semi autonomous battles going on, but somehow they all managed to tie into the whole battle at the conclusion. And with the increased number of forces available, it means that no one player is trying to command large numbers of troops, not to mention moving all those individually based figures.

I hope that structure is agreeable to you all. Once I have all the army lists in I can start co-ordinating commands available.

Apologies for my previous lapse of memory, no excuse at all. Saturday will also see a return to the exotic land of Kumbayah for 1980's African mayhem.

So four* adjacent doubles games with an agreed mechanism for crossing units between battles?

(Well three doubles and a single I guess :D )

Yes it worked well. We're going to need a huge table though!
