Ambush is still great fun. Gloomhaven is good but needs a LOT of space.

7th continent I have only dabbled with so far.

Currently veilwraith is my game of choice. But there are a lot more options than there used to be. I am sure GM and Jeremy can also chip in ideas.

well you could play Campaign for North Africa solo....

Scythe (which I missed out might do it, I like it) or Terraforming Mars (which is on my list, but not played yet).

Warfighter always tempted me and is designed for solo play. I think its solo only? There were some really good flight sim solo board games that I also never got round to investing in. They're not cheap!

I had a lot of time that needing filling with things I could just put down and leave for a day if needed, so I never minded investing in them.
