Ditto - hoping to be helping out on the Perry table (Triple Alliance action).

"Leeds Fiasco"

They've never let the Brian Clough thing go, have they?

You'll need some curry sauce on those chips if you want to pull.

Never go with curry sauce, because when she gets really excited she'll splash your shoes.

I wasnt really sure I'd bother as Leeds is sandwhiched between bigger shows but it's close for me and it was run away or spend all day at a toddlers Halloween party. So I escaped much to The Memsahib's chargrin.

Really didnt want to spend anything and planned on trying a few demo games, buying some blue paint from Leon and then going into town. So spent a small fortune on pre painted 15mm Napoleonics from Stonewall Figures. Got a great deal on top of the already good show deal. Have enough for a DbN game now. Resisted buying more and very nearly bought a load of 28mm Romans but held firm. The only unpainted I bought were a Napoleonic Royal Horse Artillery gun crew by Essex miniatures from Col. Bill for £2.25 as I wanted to give my Allies some mobile firepower. He had AB miniatures in the same pack but on comparrisson they were much bigger than my painted armies I bought, which are Minifigs I think.

The show was decent generally with good traders and games. Dave Lanchester said how he had 2 years of sales to catch up on, so I helped him out. Great sourcebook on ECW this. I seem to never stop learning about ECW and now have some Napoleonic research to do to find out how to base up my French Lights.

Didnt see many folk, only Jamie & Son who by chance saw me in the nearby Hipster cafe and came in to show me thier spoils.
