What are people buying?

Bought some Woodlands Scenics trees and bushes (which enabled me to find the trees I hadn't seen seen for a few years- why were they in a box of unbuilt WWI aircraft kits?), some 15mm 1944-45 Brits and Germans and paying Dan Dunbar to paint up some Hanoverian and Prussian 18mm SYW infantry (I just can't paint the detail on any more). Also picked up some good SYW references. Strongly resisted being tempted into new periods (except the WWII stuff), so far.

I have his resied edition Army of Fred and the 2 volumes on Austrians and slowly painting up SYW forces (and I do mean slowly).

Just bought a box of Perry WW2 Americans to see if contrast paints work well on them....

Next purchase will probably be some Early War Miniatures Norwegians. and German Paras.

I can confirm the Perry WW2 US troops are really nice figures. Haven't tried the Contrast paints on them though.
