I'm aiming for two forces of each - one replicates an Austrian advance guard (Grenzer and Hussars) attacking a Bavarian line regiment, the second is t'other way around.

Cool. I put in a couple more bids for foundry Austrians on fleabay, I always do this, and end up with badly organised forces with way too many officers, drummers and standard bearers, so then I buy more line figures and end up with way too many...

I have enough British to do SP, and unpainted French and I stalwartly resist Austrians, Prussians, Russians, Bravarians etc etc etc.

And out of sheer nostalgia, I purchased the two Funcken Napoleonic volumes. They were what inspired me to start 15mm with Wurttemburgers about 40 years ago...

They are lovely books congrats. the 2nd hand shop in york had them in last week but the price was higher than my impulse wallet was wanting to go…

I'm currently on quite a lucrative contract, so I am laying in stock for the lean years, according to the biblical precedent. So the lead and book pile has grown substantially in the last couple of months. But this working from home makes it hard to sneak parcels in...

I still have my French versions I bought in the 70s. I also picked up a German omnibus version covering the 2 lace wars volumes, both Napoleonic volumes as well as the Franco Prussian War.
