The Battle of Grocka/Krotska 1739

Post by RMD »

It's a long shot, but does anyone here have any orders of battle, maps or fully-formed scenarios for the Austro-Turkish Battle of Grocka? My mate Phil is keen to pit his newly-painted Ottoman army against my Austrians (and friends)...

Bored and waiting for a meeting! There's not much else that I can find offhand. Kronoskaf does have details of some of the Austrian regiments that fought, but you have to know just which ones first! Von Browne's regiment was one.

Oglethorpe's home in Haslemere is just a stone's throw from where I am sitting typing this. Nice house, whose occupation allowed him to be elected MP for Godalming. The hotel, a few doors down, is called "The Georgian" because that's when they last had the windows cleaned. Or possibly because he founded the colony of Georgia. Or perhaps both.
