Smashing pictures and a great report. Sounds like General Bykleigh's luck held well. and the Yankees got a drubbing. Yeeehaw.
Rules? You ask me what rules do I use. No, I don't do rules.

Black Powder 2 rules as for most things nowadays, memory being major problem for me with multiple sets. Glad you, and Tim, enjoyed the read.

That looked like a good game, Penda. I haven't tried BP2 for ACW, but it looks to have worked well.

Cheers.
If "The System" is the answer, who asked such a bloody stupid question?

Yes, but BP2 is nowhere near as good as "Bull Run to Gettysburg".

Are they your rules Tim?
When i saw some of the terminology used I thought they might have been Pickett's charge by Dave Brown

Very kind Tim, but as the author I can't comment further for obvious reasons. If I played fewer periods/genres I'd always use them for my ACW games, but as I'm a certified gaming flutterby I need to rationalise my approach. It's an age/memory thingie sadly.
