Great stuff. Like early WWI, the early part of WWII has great potential for some fun games, without German super tanks dominating the battle. Looks terrific. I also caught up with the rather splendid looking 1812 game on the blog. Lovely game. As always, from GHQ, entertainment and spectacle, plus a cracking narrative.
Rules? You ask me what rules do I use. No, I don't do rules.

I too prefer early WW2. As Hotel says, not only are there no German super tanks, but (provided their crews remember to fill up the petrol tanks correctly) the French tend to give them a good spanking when it's few-on-few, even the British can get close on occasion. However, rather like British Napoleonic cavalry the Allies tend to get out-commanded, albeit by radio this time.

Excuse my ignorance, but having never seen Rapid Fire played (or known anyone who has played it), what level is it set at - platoon, company, battalion?

From the 1st Edition: "Brigade sized", 48 men to a battalion, 3 AFVs per squadron, 3 guns per battery. The T, O & Es get a bit abstract.
