Re: The Battle of Vastabelli
Magnificent and spectacular, curse you Mr B, I am now thinking how much I'd like to recreate my old Swiss and Burgundian armies in a similar style. I love the dioramic element bases. It looks grand, but you have craftily accomplished it without too many troops, making it a far less daunting prospect. Damn.
Rules? You ask me what rules do I use. No, I don't do rules.
Re: The Battle of Vastabelli
Excellent. And good to see proper basing.
Seriously nice armies.

Those look really good
Which manufacturers are they from please David?

Re: The Battle of Vastabelli
Mostly TAG to begin with as they do/did starter army deals, plus I joined their 'club' for a year at £10, getting 10% off orders in that time. Landsknechts are from Warlord, bar one block of figures gifted me by TimH. To that I've added Casting Room and Foundry while Phil has mainly Perry Miniatures, even some plaaaastics! One large gun & crew I got from a B&B for £8, it was GW.

I agree that plastics are not everybody's cup of tea, but I am looking at the Perry's Wars of the Roses plastics, and one box of each would give me the Swiss and Burgundian armies I want as I would do them in dioramic element style, as you have. Plus plenty of flags, and the cost would not be crippling.Penda wrote: ↑Thu Dec 09, 2021 1:36 pmMostly TAG to begin with as they do/did starter army deals, plus I joined their 'club' for a year at £10, getting 10% off orders in that time.
