Well the post says he's a friend but it reads suspiciously like one of those hostage videos to me. Running it by a cryptology associate of mine suggests the underlying real message is more like "help he's keeping me in a shed and making me play with 20mm figures. Oh god those poses ... what ? oh no... not the octagons again..."

Still he is safe, sooner or later EB will use cavalry and he can just follow them out of the door!

Strangely enough EB has talked me into using 20mm for a mutual gaming project despite my efforts to steer it to another (more sensible scale)....
