i always think its good to get a practice game in before youve done all the scenery etc as understanding the mechanisms can determine your choice of how much to have, what type etc

Re: What's on your workbench?
I have being using my Dremel and Milliput to create an Officer and Standard beater for my Lutzow 6th Uhlans. I know Uhlans did not carry standards but a standard will make them look pretty.
I started with recast Prussian Dragoons and Dremeled off the carbine and used the Miliput to add the Litweka and change the shape of the shako to match the Hinton Hunt Uhlan.
The converted figures together with an Uhlan

That's very dedicated work They look good though and you're right about Standards.
Re: What's on your workbench?
Oh, you did get the Dremel then. Great isn't it.
These chaps look very splendid indeed. And of course they have to have a flag.

I have a Dremel. It can go years without being used. That being said, it’ll be getting some use on my upcoming Arthurians as the figures come without spears
