Sorry, I don't get your meaning?

How can complaining about a faulty product increase the prices of a company?

There's just no logic. Are you suggesting that I do not complain?

Well, obviously it was meant as a joke

But yes, probably complaining was a bit of a shitty thing to do...afterall, they didn't store, assess the temperature, shake or apply the varnish.

Yeah it was a bit 'shiny', but maybe that could be down to pre-prep of the varnish or the change in environment from a cold garage to a nice dry conservatory 🤷‍♂️

My own nearly 4 decades of human interaction have shown me you've often cocked it up rather than it's someone else's fault. Again just my musings...you put it in the public forum 🤷‍♂️

It has never happened to me before using the old HMG Matt formula; I was promised by the vendor that it was that exact formula.

All the layers of varnish were applied a week apart and in none humid conditions at room temperature (my conservatory has a £500 dehumidifier and is kept warm).

So maybe, just maybe, you are trolling me?

So, are you telling me, if you bought a car and the exhaust fell off you would not defer to the dealer and complain??? :fp:

That is all I have to say to you- I get the strong impression you are trolling.

I'm sorry for saying this but when comments deteriorate from attempted help and advice into speculative criticism and borderline abuse of an individual without any indication that they come from a place of humour rather than pumped up arrogance, that's bullying.

I'm sure Mr P will be along soon with his truncheon but I think we should draw this one to a close, please.

OK, I have just shy of 30 years experience painting at the high end- for much of that time professionally.

Certainly no trolling or bullying intended and apologies if it seemed that way
