Muskets and Tomahawks 2nd Edition

Post by Paul »

Does anyone know what the differences are between the 1st and 2nd Editions of M&T?
I have the 1st Edition but the Cards have gone walkabout so I specifically need to know if the cards from the different editions are interchangeable?

I do not have the rules Paul but there is a review here that may give some insight into your question?

This appears to be a M & T forum.

Here is a link to a game played by JJ, you may get further insight from this.

Here is a reply from JJ on his blog. I asked him if the cards were interchangeable.

Hi Willz,
Thank you. No not really the new cards are quite different from the old ones despite some similarities with perhaps some key changes like the inclusion of three clock cards to determine events and end of turn reshuffles.

As an alternative to cards, which I find a pain in the proverbial to constantly shuffle, you could use the mdf chits from Colin at Charlie Foxtrot Models, link attached.

Hope that helps

That's great, thanks, just what I needed to know :D I did try to find out but my Google Fu failed me.
Given that I might take the opportunity tocreate a "bespoke" set of cards so that they can also help drive aspects of a solo game. Although I like the CF chits as well, I prefer those to a deck of cards which takes up so much space on the table when you're playing a skirmish game.
