Am I sickening for something?

Post by Penda »

I have gone the whole month without buying anything for my hobby. Am I ill? Loosing my motivation? Daunted by the Lead Lump?
Am I on my own in this situation?
There is no point in being stupid if you don't show it!

Treat yourself to this and blow the budget for the next few years. I would have gone for it myself but my table has a SWL of 200kg. Anyway Bromsgrove's too far away for a pick up.

After assembling my unpainted lead into one huge pile I've been molested by guilt. I've not bought anything for a long time, and worse, I don't want to.

I can safely say that nothing short of a major lottery win would stop my wife killing me if I bought that. And even then, I'd have to agree the expenditure with her first.

Nice model though, but.

A combination of penury, no time to paint and no urge to paint has brought my lead purchases to a halt. EB if your lead pile is gilt, public pensions are too high in the UK.

Like the esteemed Essex one I can't buy stuff if I have a large backlog - which is significantly smaller that most peoples as it is.
I've not bought figures since August (I think!) as I have lots to do already and last couple of months have been terrible so little painting opportunity.
I always buy to paint so when new stuff arrives it's undercoated and put on the bench - never stored. Their's always nice miniatures to buy but if we aren't ready to paint them - isn't it hoarding or just being a woman?
Another Handbag Dear?
Yes, it's on 'occasion bag'
Oh what occasion?
Well something might come up sometime, somewhere, some point in some universe/reality.
We can always do with more handbags/line infantry
