Re: Anyone going to be backing this on Kickstarter?
Decided to do a larger range of figures before relaunching apparently.
Re: Anyone going to be backing this on Kickstarter?
Does make more sense.

Yup, cancelled for the reason, allegedly, that GM has given above, despite hitting their target nearly twice over in 2 days!
The real reason? I wasn't impressed with the presentation of the KS. There wasn't enough focus on the game and more photos/videos were needed. The team had years to prepare (by their own admission) and so to not even have size comparisons available, when they were apparently expecting people to use figures from elsewhere for the bulk of their "armies" was a big oversight.
I think they were expecting this to explode Barons War style but it was never going to do that because of the much more limited appeal. Especially given the lack of background "fiction" paragraphs etc...which could have really set the scene. I think cancelling is a mistake as they had already got to nearly double their target and they could have completed, then come back with a KS 2 with more figures. It was the second Barons War KS where it really kicked on and made huge amounts of cash so perhaps they should have considered that and also that we are in a very different post covid energy, crisis world where disposable cash is at a premium.

Annoyed me as I wanted the book for the artwork and as a "Bestiary".
