G'day, Dwdp. That was an enjoyable read, mate. I'm not familiar with the rules you used, but it looks like it was a good game.
If "The System" is the answer, who asked such a bloody stupid question?

Thanks Willz. Having frequently admired your fantastic painting, and probably not said so often enough, writing a blog seems like small, and self-indulgent, achievement.

Didn’t put it in the blog, but readers here will be entertained to know that clearing up after the game I went full NDL and watched in horror as the assembled cavalry might of the Sassanian Empire flew across the room and crashed onto the (hardwood) floor.

Much repair in my future I see.
