Re: Ayton, Friday 29th April - Sunday 1st May 2022.
Just got home. A surprisingly easy journey, it being a Bank Holiday Monday.
It was a splendid weekend, chaps, thank you all. But particular thanks to Peeler for being an all round splendid fellow, and for organising the whole thing.
I hadn't seen some of you for years.....far too long. Very sorry that not everyone could make it this time.
And two rather lovely newbies. I hope you both had a good time.

Great weekend, thanks all - very inclusive group, even though it was my first ever Ayton didn't feel like an interloper
Fun, enjoyable game - thanks Mr. Peeler for being a splendid opponent (and not because you lost).

Thoroughly pleasant weekend of gaming, feeding & drinking had, thanks to all, esp Iain & Tim for the rules, Dave for the scenario & Gary for bringing so many figures. You all make the weekend so enjoyable, and relatively easy going, from the setting up through to the swift clear up at the end, with decent gaming and feeding & drinking in between. Special congrats to Pemble my oppo, who politely handed my arse to me
Money wise, you've got healthier over the years & buy less chocolate! I might just do drinks next time. Anyway, after paying the hall £400, there was a mere £21 left over, I found some coins in a fluffy cupboard, so I'll donate £25 to the Tim Waudby Ukraine charity thing.
Well done all, good to see you, sorry to see you all leave, looking forward to the next one already
