Post by SteveAshy »

Hi there
Thanks for stopping by. As the subject says, I’m looking for any war gamers in and around Todmorden.

Lovely place! You're in the middle of a few of us here from the Greater Manchester or West Yorks regions.

Welcome to the forum. Do not feel left out on the banter, jump in.

Oh and do not mention teddy bear fur mats or thatch etc.

However, at every opportunity, do feel free to ask "What's the best varnish/glue/flock for.....?" and "Why are Essex Boy's cavalry all lying down?"

Todmorden: German for "death camp at the end of the London Underground's Northern Line".

Yes, welcome - you'll fit in very well here.

Doesn't that kind of imply that there is an "easy" way?

Yes but you've got to factor in avoiding the witches and werewolves on the Burnley road. As if that wasn't enough the council have decided to dig up the middle of Tod this summer.

Also you’ll have to bypass the ufo on Burnley road near to where I live ( the grey alien is a pleasant chap and pops round occasionally for crumpets and tea, and the odd cow)
