Hope it all went well Jeremy, I saw a few photographs online and it looked like a cracking set up.

Cheers Doug. Pics in no particular order. I ran two games. Four warlords commanding Irish, Saxon and two British armies (one Arthur, one Mordred) fought it out. No sides, though informal arrangements were agreed, and then broken mid-game. Three decks in play, two regular decks and the raiders deck. Each force had their own secret objectives, some similar and some conflicting. In both games, British force morale was reduced to zero. Arthur was captured in one and sacrificed by the Saxon Shaman, in another, he was routed from the table by some Irish Raider cavalry. In both, the sneaky Saxons were victorious. The game generated a lot of laughs and much banter. Sid played Mordred in one game and his constant referral to ‘Mummy’ was hilarious, if a little creepy (Morgana was on the table as a Enchantress)

That's a seriously splendid looking game, Jezza. Lovely figures and terrain.

That's impressive, Jeremy. So Arthur was having an off day, was he?

I don't know why, but your town terrain reminds me of a walk from Newark Castle station to Newark Northgate, only yours looks more civilised.
If "The System" is the answer, who asked such a bloody stupid question?
