So slowly getting back into gaming again, I’ve been buying books, terrain, paints and in the process of saving up to buy some Baccus 6mm British and French Napoleonic armies to field, but being on a tight budget it’s a slow process. Plus my misses frowns on me when I spend money on tat as she calls it, so have to sneak my purchases in and tell her I got them off eBay for a couple of quid, which seems to work lol.

This only works if you are prepared to wear your battalions as a fashion statement...

A couple of sets of AWI rules - hopefully to test out against others already in my collection in a "comparison game"; and a pocket-sized book by a lowly subaltern named Ewald on what you should do when commanding a small detachment in the field.

Also, an Indian Pattern Carrier for my Burma project (whose gestation makes elephant reproduction look like McDonald's); it's a Warlord one, which wasn't my first choice - I may still go for the Perry/Blitzkrieg version, which has an extra crewman - but it was cheap and looks fairly simple to put together. Which is just as well as, being Warlord, it came with absolutely no instructions whatsoever.....

More CWGH acquisitions this week in the form of some Butler's 3D Prints ~ a Rapier battery on the move and deployed, Land Rovers and Command radio truck, ambulance, some Soviet Ural trucks. I'm really very impressed by the service and the vehicles, super wargames vehicles imho.
