Is constructive critisism not allowed on a forum? (Not this one I hasten to add)

Post by Subedai »

A certain 28mm company released some mounted Steppe Warriors and a certain gentleman whose moniker is similar to a carbonated orange drink put some pics up, nothing wrong with that you say. Very true I respond, but when I commented that said company had not done their research properly and given the warriors long, more western style stirrups instead of the short ones my comment magically disappeared -not deleted or anything like that, just taken down. That was two days ago so yesteday I posted again and to be honest, from what I have read about others I am slightly amazed that it is still there. Maybe a comment about constructive critisism of a previous comment is permissable but the actual critisism is not. Thank goodness for the more intelligent, inventive and humorous fora.

You have been marked for termination. Dissent is not permissible. Have a nice day...

"Trust the computer, citizen"

Sounds par for the course for a certain site with arbitary and erratically enforced rules and moderation.

Dare one suggest that one's geographic location might also influence the moderators decision?

I’ve been brutal on occasion - I recall describing the baseball-mitt hands of EMPs Boxer Rebellion figures as “visible from space”.
But that was then and this is now.

I'm against that sort of thing. Deleting posts I mean, not constructive criticism.

Kent won't be in Europe in a year. Trump offered the make the UK a state but they declined.

And nothing would surprise me on Fistin fish's forum, other than good humour and manners.
