Penda’s Italian Wars Project thread
Re: Penda’s Italian Wars Project thread
Great stuff David
Re: Penda’s Italian Wars Project thread
I’ve made use of some unused figures to make a Command stand for the Italian Wars collection ~
Figures are from TAG, Foundry and (I think) Ante Diluvian Miniatures. More thoughts over on the blog for those interested.

Did you choose Papal forces, or were they forced on you by fellow club members? I can't think of anything worse than having to paint loads of white and yellow (especially together). Kudos to you for persevering with it AND doing such a good job.

A minute or two perusing my blog might have prevented you asking a daft question like that. Glad you like my work though.BaronVonWreckedoften wrote: ↑Fri Mar 16, 2018 10:50 am Did you choose Papal forces, or were they forced on you by fellow club members? Lovely job on that command group David. I always loved the Perry figures for this era, and that general is a lovely example.
Rules? You ask me what rules do I use. No, I don't do rules.

Very, very big but very, very nice. Like the way you have done Cesare's horse furniture.

Not a chance mate. Got that well out of my system decades ago when you could only get the big boys. Nowadays 6 and 10mm suit my needs quite nicely -especially on a 5' x 4'.5" table. However, I do have two bigguns armies, Mongol and Russian/Polish and thats it, all the rest are 15mm or smaller.

Pope Alexander VI, accompanied by Cardinal Bicclione and his Confessor, inspects the Pontifical Guard. The Pope was a kind gift from Andrew Taylor of Antediluvian Miniatures. The figure is from their latest character set, which was sculpted by Matt ~
