Yeah I think so. John Savage was talking to me about them, not really my thing so didn’t focus too much

Ohh, new to me. Those look great and I think 30mm works better. I can see me having so.e of those. I've been toying with the idea of the FPW Spencer Smiths 30mm but I've already got the period in 42mm. These could be a cheaper entry to AGW and shinys generally.

Some interesting eBay purchases of 2nd Gen Minifigs, including 10 packs of Renaissance P&S, plus some Spanish knights and a couple of SYW packs (US, so 20+ figures in each) from the "rare as rocking horse doo-dah" end of the scarcity spectrum.

Well, the monocle has arrived, and I've packed my Bavarian dice (from Dice of War in Oz*), so I'm all set for the Algy game at Lard Workshop next weekend.

* Had these a few years now, so possibly time for some 6s to turn up? We can only hope.....

A fun day at Claymore yesterday.
I spent most of the time catching up with friends and made relatively few purchases.
I did however spend far too long distracting the very generous Michael on the Supreme Littleness stand and eventually walked away with an unfinished display model of his as yet unreleased Trojan Wars range. This will be taking a starring role in the Trojan game at Ayton next year after i've finished the build, texturing and painting etc....

Actual purchases included some magnetic basing, casualty markers and paint/varnish

A Picture of the haul.

Yep, agreed about Michael, I rocked up to his stand yesterday, he instantly dropped what he was doing and came across to say hi, after 3 years. And I love Warbases, top people, but Michael is doing the nicest MDF kits of anyone right now. I picked up his new fermtoun kit. Bloody lovely.

He needs to work on his marketing more. Outside of Scotland and the north of England, I get the sense he’s largely unknown

I think that might be about to change, although he does seem to prefer to produce the kit designs and then licence them to other people. I get the impression that 4Ground let him down though.
